-How many of these caregivers are managing their responsibilities alone?
-How many are balancing work while caring for their loved ones?
-How many are raising other children at home?
-How many are missing out on a social life?
-How many are unable to recharge their batteries?
-How many are constantly worried about the safety of their loved ones with different abilities?
Respite care is a short-term service that provides temporary relief for caregivers of individuals with various abilities, including, but not limited to, autism, cerebral palsy, Alzheimer's, Down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injury, and intellectual disabilities or delays.
At Daniel's Place, our respite guests feel at home, allowing their caregivers to recharge and restore their energy. This support helps prevent caregiver burnout and frustration that can accompany full-time caregiving. Our guests and their families find that respite care is beneficial not only for their daily routines but also for reducing stress and revitalizing their energy.
